Basketball

Tennis, rugby, soccer and many more sport. But basketball is our school lessons. This is my report for basketball.

Our coaches are coach manew and coach malek, they have been teaching us skills. We learnt some skills like jump stop, dribbling and chicken wing. Beef is a good thing in basketball B stands for  balance, E stands for elbow the other E stands for eye on the target and F stands for follow through.

After we practice skills we play this game called golden child. Golden child is a game where there is two teams. One team is a shooting team and the other team is a running team. The game goes like this, the shooting team is trying to get the ball in the hoop. The running team is trying to get to the other side without stopping. If one person runs and a person from the shooting team shoots it in then the person who is running stops where they got caught.

Training for basketball is not hard.  All you need is to have fun. Knowing the skills of playing basketball makes it easy for you to play the game. Basketball is a fun game to play.

Dogs man's best friend

Bunnies, hamsters ,cats and many more pets are some people favorite animal but   why are dogs man's best friend?

Farming, protecting, helping blind people and the sense of smell and many more things that dogs help men. All these are probably why dogs are man's best friend.

police dogs help them by their sense of smell. Police dogs are very useful they help to find drugs criminals and lost people.

Dogs have a keen sense of smell. At the airport They use  dogs to smell drugs and fruit. Dogs are trained to smell fruit because some fruits are aligal to this country.

They are also helpful  for smelling people that are lost and people that have broke the law. Police dogs get treats when they find drugs or fruit .

Dogs help farmers by rounding up sheep. If dogs didn't help farmers they would be tired out. Dogs bark at the sheep so they can get scared and go into a paddock.

Dogs guard their territory. If you go in a dog's territory it will get real mad. Dogs will guard people's houses. So beware of a dog's territory.
Dogs are very useful for blind people. Dogs help blind people by leading their way. Blind people would be struggling with out dogs

Dogs are man's best friend farming, guarding  and helping blind people this is why dogs are man's best friend.

The Shark

The dark shadow of a dangerous looking  creature was circling  around  my canoe. I thought it looked too big for a normal fish. My heart started pounding faster and faster as it came closer.

A sharp fin popped out of the water following by a gigantic head. It was then that I noticed that it was a great white shark, its razor sharp teeth looked like broken glass. I lifted the paddle in case it jumped, if it did, then I will bash it on the head.

The shark bit part a piece out of my boat, It felt like my heart had jumped out.
I hopped into the water swimming away. I looked at the shark. From out of no where the shark was ripping a fish apart.
I swam as fast as I could. I closed my eyes. Then the shark rubbed its skin on me, it felt smooth. The shark swam right past me after that. I swam to shore. ‘Wow!’ I said ‘That was awesome!’

Reading food labels and how to make your body healthy

At the Market

 At the Market

The beautiful smell wafted past my face when I walked past the markets gate.

Pop, pop, pop, the sound of popcorn popping when people were trying to buy some . Other people try to buy some smelly cold fish for dinner because it was a hot day.

I heard some people playing hip hop music, there were loads of people there. People were shouting in different languages to get them  there attention.

I saw a man leash a dog to a pole, the dog look fierce. When anyone walks past it barks. The dog was brown and black just like our dog . There was big tents all around the market. People  were selling cloths, sprays, food and all sorts.

I walked past the tent I got to my mum she had chicken for dinner the chicken smelled very good. We hopped in the car and went home.

A Swim At The Beach

               A Swim At The Beach

It was a hot afternoon when I was trying to find shade. My feet were burning from the hot gold sand. I could hear the wave smashing through each other. I couldn't wait to jump in the water.

Soon the sun was covered by clouds and the  tide was out. I could go for a swim. I ran as fast as I could. When I got in the sea it felt very refreshing . I could feel the wind blowing through my hair .  Me and my family went swimming.

We found three fishes. I accidently  picked up a jellyfish  thinking it was a piece of rubbish. It felt like jelly rubbing through my fingers.

It was getting late so we had to get change then we went home.
